Perhaps a System of Recall, that requires a Simple, Majority Vote, that is completely auditted, regardless of the outcome, and a New Primary would take place.
With the Politican that is removed from Office, they should be forced to pay a hefty fine, and be barred from holding any Office in the US Government, whether it be Local or National.
The process is already in place and has been since the beginning of our country. I left a lengthy comment on another page covering some of these things. It is nowhere to be found EXCEPT on the page that shows all of one's contributions. My point was that if people do not care to learn these things, we will be right back here sooner rather than later. I had not expected to see a comment removed or hidden on this site.
I've had it happen a couple times..I don't think it's removed or hidden. I think.it's an edge-case bug that.shows.up when a comment that's 3+ deep is a child of.a.comment that gets deleted. It also breaks the context, full thread nav and treats the orphan reply as the parent.
He is on his last term so he doesn't care anymore and just wants to maximize his wealth at this point. Rest assured, we have hated Mitch for years well before his outright treachery of late.
There should be a constitutional amendment, bearing repercussions for congress members not representing their constituents.

I suspect he "bought" his last election.
Without the 17th Amendment, states had that ability.
I'm wondering if some of these bad actors are good guys exposing the flaws in the system
