I don't remember seeing any citations to where we are getting that date?

Anybody know?

From my understanding, the original inauguration date was March 4th.

It was changed to January 20th.

That’s correct. It was allegedly changed when USA became a corporation. Trump bankrupted the corporation(an LLC registered in London), and brought back the Republic a couple of years ago. The rumour is that he will be sworn in as the 19th President of the US Republic. All this is hearsay, take with a spoon of salt
