No one should be allowed to get a new account and immediately start creating posts. I think there needs to be a timer, etc. Or better yet ask them a series of questions people who've been following Q for a while might know. Quick and easy ways to weed these shills out.
Or better yet, simply give users a filter so they can turn off all posts from new accounts by default until they hit a certain ratio of upvotes.
In other words, the people with patience to deal with infiltrators would leave that filter off and use deport when necessary to help out mods.
The rest of us would have a clean board free of all shills (except for deep cover shills) for the most part and also get the benefit of crowdsourcing to separate the wheat from the chaff.
This would also help legitimate new handshakes who truly want to lurk and not lose the signal in the noise.

I proposed a lockdown of new accounts, but that idea sounds a lot better.
