Jonestown Guyana November 18, 1978. Total of 918 dead. 909 died in Jonestown(all but 2 from cyanide poisoning). This was after the murder of U.S. Congressman Leo Ryan and 4 others was ordered by Rev. Jim Jones. Four other Temple members committed murder-suicide at his command.
