It seems like a hoax and improbable, but it’s just the type of situation that is very probable. Kind of a strange dude, but he could be blessed with an intelligence that is beyond us. Which of course would make him seem nuts. I don’t know, but nothing makes sense. Since we were not taught our real history, who knows.
