Nice. This article shows HOW DC spread their cancer over the rest of the US.

They had authority to run DC as they saw fit, since it was a Federal City, but that did NOT apply to the rest of the US. Then, when they tagged the Constitution to DC in 1871, they let that cancer spread over the nation.
