Did anyone see the 10th mountain division twitter post about a avalanche warning for this weekend. I saw it on reddit but it disappeared really quick and I don't want to reactivate my twitter to find it. I am going shopping in the morning just in case.

As far as I can tell this is the 18th airborne corps twitter posting a picture of someone skiing asking if anybody is going skiing over the weekend. Nothing about an avalanche on either 18th airborne twitter or the 10th mountain twitter unless I am mistaken it is other people unrelated assuming a photo of someone skiing = avalanche warning. Correct me if any of this is wrong.
Yeah I saw that, but I see a lot of posts here such as the link to abcu8.co posted in this comment thread, which takes this photo and poses the question "10th Mountain Division D5 Avalanche coming this weekend?" and from that then people here then pass it off as the 10th Mountain Division has posted an Avalanche warning on their Twitter. Others may feel differently but personally I don't take an unrelated party asking a question about a photo posted on Twitter asking if anybody is going skiing this weekend to be the equivalent of 10th mountain Division posting an Avalanche warning on their Twitter. This type of jumping to conclusions because they fit what we want to see happens a lot on this board. Not saying you do this, but just a general observation of this board: a lot of people say to question everything, and yet even extremely weak links if they can somehow be taken to fit people's beliefs on a subject are essentially not questioned at all, and questions are met with resistance.
