One of Satan’s tricks is to lull us into thinking that sin is okay, even good. (Humanism is Man determining what is Right and Wrong). But when a Great Awakening occurs, the reality of the offense of Sin and it’s catastrophic consequences comes to a population’s consciousness. There are some basic underlying moral laws of Nature and when a culture swings too far away from them (widespread adultery, pedophilia, cheating, lying, corruption, murder, etc. and now we go into changing of gender and forcing good people to violate their conscience, and of course—the murder and abuse of children.), the pendulum will swing back with a vengeance to correct the sins of the culture. But first, people must understand and recognize the sins. Then there is a repentance before God, and a turning back to Him and His laws and ways. Only then can a people truly flourish.
