The military blocking doesn't make sense, the I.A. has been used a few times - think it might even have been used in L.A. Riots. Whiskey Rebellion of course, so it would seem odd that they wouldn't back it.

Traitors like Mattis who claimed it would be unconstitutional (but didn't have a problem when Dubya used it during Mattis active service) when Trump wanted to use it during the riots, but in the end it is the Presidents call. If the military said they wouldn't back him it would be THEY who would be guilty of insurrection then.

So it is nonsense when the Military claim it would have been unconstitutional.

There are a lot of generals and flag officers who appear to be traitors though. They yearn to go back to permanent war.
