A soldier does not require or expect such things.
We will never be acknowledged for doing the right thing. That's the definition of character.

We've gotten a nod here and there from the heavy-lifters, my friend. It may be all we ever get and I'm proud to get even that much. We aren't here for glory; this is about the survival of our way of life.
