Yes, with a k and a dash.

As in, it was hard to fit the (thing) there, it was all katty-wumpus.

Generally meaning odd angles either in the location, or of the item, or both.

It is distantly related to fubar, in that something katty-wumpus can be the instigating reason for an eventual fubar situation. So I believe the derivation/origination is military.
