All inaugurals have differing aspects. I’m not privy to why but suppose it depends on what the President wants, weather, etc. I do know President Reagan’s second was cancelled because it was like 5 degrees. Nancy allegedly said he wasn’t going! ;) All in all, chasing the disrespect angle from The Old Guard won’t cut it with me. There is too much honor and integrity in that unit. Y’all think what you want but I was there and still have friends attached.
