Some of these obelisks are evidence of ancient high technology. Carved from a single piece of hard stone, quarried from sites many miles away, machined to perfection, yet apparently.... built by ancient Egyptians with stone and copper tools? Lol. They found the pyramids and much of the older work, they didn’t build it. The people that did had some VERY advanced tech, probably more than what we have now. There is evidence of giant saw wheel cut marks and much more. Wheels thinner and larger than what we have today. Check out Brien Foerster (sp?) on youtube. Not sure what the elite’s preoccupation is with obelisks but I’d bet anything that they know more about the past of mankind err... peoplekind than we do.
