Now let that ad revenue flow and those viewer numbers rise! This is always one of my first "red pills" with people- the MSM is a business at the end of the day. Whatever noble journalists exsisted in the past are few and far between now, and they won't be found on a cable network. CNN, ABC, etc are all massive corporations with a bottom line like any other corp. They'll tell you whatever the people signing their checks tell them to without a second thought.
On the nose anon. Day after the election I texted a couple of weak friends and told them to stay off the internet & cable news sites. The goal is to get you into the "comfort cycle" and buy your way out of your depression/anxiety. And in doing so the ad host gets the kickback as well as justifying the ad cost to the client. It is a parasitical relationship where we ideally get sucked dry.
Absolutely. Like that South Park episode about Amazon fulfillment. Also reminds me of Trainspotting:
"Choose a life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers... Choose DSY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit crushing game shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away in the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself, choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?"
Ahh hell. Nice catch anon! It is a really great movie. It's pretty damn accurate portrayal of the lifestyle. I'm sincerely greatful greatful it's not mine anymore.

Shocking...!
One of my favorite riffs from Trainspotting but you left off the punchline -
"Who needs reasons when you’ve got heroin?”
