Can the senate deny all this evidence? I mean the latest declass is about spygate and he probably has a lot of voter fraud evidence, but strictly speaking, that is not relevant to an insurrection charge?
The senators have also asked to vote in private to hide their votes from the voting base. If For the People 2021 bill passes it won't matter as voting will be a free for all and welcome to US of Venezuela, our votes will never count.
Great point, but remember how many Republicans claimed they would object to certifying the electoral college votes and then reversed their position after the "violent insurrection"? I wouldn't have too much faith in their word at this point.
I wanna see him go through this and when Leahy is slamming down the gavel and yelling about him being out of order, He looks back and yells "You're out of order! Your entire government is a charade that I will not tolerate anymore." Speaking into his cufflink, he says "Do it."
They all said they were serious about tackling voter fraud too. Don't be surprised if they vote to convict and do so on the most baseless and flimsy charges. Won't mean anything in the long run.
It's a win win. They will not get any of these 45 to convict and Trump can roll out ALL the fraud evidence during the trial.
They can't deny admisability of the evidence because they stated in the articles of impeachment that Trump kept repeating LIES of fraud.
Let it roll for weeks!

It is fully relevant. In the articles of impeachment they accuse Trump of continually lying about fraud in the election.
It would be fully justified to bring evidence of fraud to dispute this.
I see, that makes sense. Thanks.
But who knows what BS the Dems running the show will allow?
I believe it is unconstitutional for a Senator to act as Judge over the proceedings. That is why we have three equal branches of government.
They must have a SC jurist to oversee this farce.
They did not really hold it back, no one would listen
what a waste of time and government resources
You just described our entire government.
Close, but not quite there yet. The government is composed entirely OF waste... specifically, human waste.
The senators have also asked to vote in private to hide their votes from the voting base. If For the People 2021 bill passes it won't matter as voting will be a free for all and welcome to US of Venezuela, our votes will never count.

And then the real fun begins.

If it becomes an issue, can't you just say you have bad allergies or some shit?
Better to out what really happened at the capitol on Jan 6.
Haha Trump enters capitol chambers (for his defense) with FULL Marine guard detail.
