They were surprised when I said I had no plans to get the vaccine. They asked, "what if it were mandatory?" And I said, "then we'd have to have a serious conversation about that." The subject was changed quickly to something more light-hearted. But it seems like they're at least considering mandating a vaccine in order to work at this office. And if they do decide that, they'll be looking for a new manager for their shipping department.

My response when I was asked a similar question was "Is the company really planning on taking on the life long liability of forcing people to take a vaccine that we know nothing about the long term effects of?"
If they tell me I have to take it without putting it in writing I will tell them I took it without putting it in writing.
If they tell me I have to take it and put it in writing I will ask for severance package that lasts through the end of the pandemic. Making such a large policy change during a pandemic where it's difficult if not impossible to find similar employment. The company doesn't require any other vaccines.
