IMO, military doesn't want internal conflict while dealing with one aboard(China). There a lot of ships from different nations are head out to South China Sea aka SCS. Also, think about there are potential threats from our Northern and Southern Boards. Troops are being deployed by china. Think about it, can fight with two fronts and not to mention those stupid Commie want to be in America.
