Whilst this might be a low ranking priority on this forum, I am sure that there are atleast a few people trying to figure out where to place their money if a mass upheaval of government and presumably financial regulations does occur in the form of a Great Awakening
I have my eyes on crypto (particularly XRP; at a low right now though also being mentioned by the WEF and various European banks), as well as physical valuables like gold etc.
I feel like there are many more potential ways to go about this though, i.e shorting big tech / pharma / deep state related stocks etc. (Anything that would be hurt by Trump coming back)
What do you think are particularly good opportunities in this incredibly intense time right now?
With the USMCA and decreased reliance on China, we’ll be trading with Mexico more. I’ve wondered if the Peso would increase in value, and if it’d be clever to diversify some dollars into pesos. Precious metals are obvious. Just have to see how I’d go about it. Placing $250 converts to 5000 pesos.

I might be misremembering, but I think the Ruble is also not backed by the federal banks. $1 USD converts to 75 Rubles. Say the USA tanks at some point but Russia booms. Could be a safeguard.

I’ll be your huckleberry. Focus on American made, industrial aspect of American made. Market is screaming late stage bubble with investor behavior but late stage doesn’t have a set expiration date. I look at what most are doing around me and the justification of their actions. Old saying get out when the garbage man is giving you stock tips. Look at the value side of the market. Value has various definitions/strategies but low price to book value is a start, keep it simple. Historically (100 year perspective) value has out performed growth, but last decade growth has trounced value. Most have abandoned value. Is tomorrow the turning point doubtful and no one knows when that time comes but my gut tells me we are not far away. If you commit to a contrarian strategy such as allocation tilt to value stay the course it will be bumpy but I think five/ten year average returns from today would reflect a swing back to value.

Jmbullion has good rates. Buy protective cases on their site. American silver eagles, buffalos, and maple leafs are probably best to start. I’d get 20 silver coins and 2 five oz silver bars if you’re just starting.
