in the usa?? because that is illegal. hard currency (joke of a name) is the American monetary system. for the purposes of buying or selling, you can't legally not take cash in america... if they do, you should sue... only way to make some wake up and stop pushing something as HARMING THE MONETARY SYSTEM OF THE US GOVERNMENT.
Not so. Once upon a time, long ago, when man was more connected with himself spiritually and with nature, we didn't have money.
If I could guarantee I could feed my self and family and susbsist (live, not survive) indefinitely without a cash society, and in such a way that it DOESN'T lead to Communism, I would do it in a heart beat. And most others would, too.
I suggest you look into Jacques Fresco and The Venus Project. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.
