Summary:
Gamestop, the brick and mortar videogame retail chain has widely been considered a "dying brand" making it a frequent target for naked short selling making hedge funders rich. Naked shorting is exploiting a loophole allowing nonexistant shares to be sold that are never verified, and then buy them back at lower cost, essentially robbing a company's IPO.
4chan /biz/ and the subreddit r/wallstreetbets came up with a question: How do you turn naked shorting against the investors? The Answer:
Pump it up with investments forcing the investment firms to buy back the shares at HIGHER costs
Purely amazing
Basically while congress can inside trade, SEC will be looking to prosecute individuals on some bullshit
Whoever started this off, BRAVO!!!
BIGLY!!!
I need this education, thanks!
Nice
It's actually illegal to coordinate and purposefully manipulate a stock price. I wouldn't be surprised if they hunt down these retails just like the "insurrectionists".
Thanks for putting in that nasty commercial so that I can no longer send this video to my family :/
GAME OVER.
GAME OVER YEAH
