Have the lights that shine on the front of The White House always gone off at 11 at night?
Supposedly yes. But that seems like a security risk.
why? You don't think the Secret Service has night vision? Thermal vision? non lethal abilities to crowd control? sensors in the ground?
The white house is the most guarded building on the fucking planet. Even if you WANTED TO BREACH, you couldn't.
The 2014 White House intrusion occurred on September 19, 2014, when Omar J. Gonzalez, an Iraq War veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder, jumped over the White House's fence and entered the building's front door, overpowered a female security officer, was stopped by another who was off-duty, then later by multiple security officers, and arrested. He was found to have a small knife in his pocket
And it'll never happen again. Never. I guarantee you the secret service will now use non lethal all the way to the doors, then over power a single person at the door. Actual bullets would probably be a lost resort. Think of the optics.
