off topic i guess but the statehood game isn't gonna work out for the dems
the texas annexation agreement gives them the right divide into 5 states
dems don't wanna try to stack senators. they can gain +4 from dc and puerto rico but then we get +8 from texas

I don't know (or necessarily agree with) the Rep. vs Corp "stuff" but the statehood issues IMO are pure deep state.
They want the additional US Senators and Representative to pad their majority.
Ditto for Puerto Rico statehood.
