Trump often speaks glowingly about people who end up being bad guys. I think it's his style of not revealing his true knowledge, keeping the individual thinking Trump actually approves of them. Seems whenever he does this, the compliments themselves point to the evil.

I could be wrong, it's just a method I've developed to interpret 'Trump speak', lol.
