As a Cold War veteran I have a deep understanding of communism and the danger it poses to a constitutional republic. That is why I felt it was important to post this article.

What we Cold War Vets served to prevent from happening is actually happening to America today. This is for real, and is happening before our very eyes.

Put your politics aside and your belief that it can't happen here, and start looking at the facts and events occurring all around us today, and over the last few years.

I, for one, will do everything in my power to resist this from happening. It may be too late to stop, or it may be a futile effort, but I will defy it, nonetheless.

I know what I believe in. I know what I hold dear. I know I will support our constitution, our constitutional republic, and the principles upon which both were written and established to my dying breath. I will do this because I believe these were divinely inspired by our Creator, the same Creator mentioned in the Declaration of Independence, the Bible, and in many other religious writings. I will do this because I am a Christian, and I refuse to allow communists, or any other government based upon tyrannical ideologies, to abolish my right to religious freedom, or any other right endowed upon me by our Creator.

I know that the reasons I served all those years ago mean just as much to me today as they did when I took my oath. I know that if I do not stand for what I believe, that if I just submit like a sheep to the slaughter, that I am betraying everyone who ever served to establish or protect our constitution and our republic. By doing nothing, I would be dishonoring everyone who sacrificed before me, with me, or after me to protect our liberty.

There was a time were able to disagree on things, political and otherwise, while still being civil and friends. Sadly, that is not the case today.

Many Americans today are ignorant regarding communism and the danger it poses. Ignorant to the pure evil of communists. Many Americans feel a false sense of security that it can't happen here.

Well, read this article in its entirety, and then take some time to ponder it with an objective and open mind. Let it sink in, and then take a good hard look at the things happening around us today. The things that have been happening over the last few years. Look at how we have been divided. Look at how we have been pitted against each other in many ways. Look at how far we have fallen from where we were when Ronald Reagan was President.

It is time to wake up and come back together. If not, we will fall. That is a fact my friends.
