I'm not agreeing with Wictor, and I'm trying not to spam this, but we need to see the other side's vision.
This is exactly what we need to look out for. Trust nobody. These people are sick and legitimately hate you.
We're now seeing some of the most vile and degenerate progressive mouths on twitter—some of them Reps like AoC and Talib—the TyT and many other blue-checks—taking what seem to be logical positions concerning the fiasco on Wallstreet.
I won't fall for it because this is an attempt to synchronize the dialectic.
Remember what GEOTUS said, "The establishment exists to protect and enrich itself..."
The commie endgame is to have Big Brother punish Wallstreet by seizing it, and subsequently end what's left of the "free market". This is how it happens. The same will happen with BigTech, and they will make us beg for it.
Allowing the Gov the become even more powerful is not what we want or need. What we need and should want to do is remove our money from a system that's destroying us, and channel it into systems which promote individualism and production. To a degree, this is what's happening right now with GME.
HOWEVER... [Enter AoC]
Commies are experts at begging for the Gov to step in as the good guy and assume control over the evil "freemarket". We fall for this over and over again for a simple reason: the FakeNews drives home the narrative that these BigBanks and BigCorps were operating under freemarket conditions. That has never ever been the case. They operate strictly under political protection (local, state, and fed) while feigning as free market capitalists—the two are antithetical.
When Big Brother steps in, these Corps are absorbed into the greater power structure. The regulations don't effect them as much as they devestate new and aspiring problem solvers and producers attempting to enter the marketplace. This is the design. The regulations and red-tape aren't for the big boys, they're for mom and pop.
The Lesson: BigCorps flex their guns on purpose, so that we whine and beg for BigBrother to come protect us. They do this because when the BigGov regulations inevitably come, it helps the BigCorps finally sink their roots deep into the tax dollar enriched Federal Soil, reducing their competitors to nothing but weeds. Never in the history of the Earth has a coercive Monopoly been establish without the boons granted by a legislative body. Never.
Wallstreet exists in its current form because it operates under the protective powers of BigGov and the cover of FakeNews, not because it is some sort of rogue element in the socio-economic system.
