My dumbass is with stash, who's been doing fucky shit too. Where's my relief? They didn't damage me financially, but they damaged me civilly when they limited my ability to use the app to buy the stonks that I want. Because of other people buying the stonks that they wanted!
Have Stash as well and also noticed it. "Its cause we're busy"..I'm sure to some degree the hardware is overloaded but that being said they seem to have had the space and time to introduce plenty of pop ups telling me everything is volatile. I saw yesterday where WeBull has an option to transfer your account and will waive the fees right now (as long as you have "x amount of value")
TBH though I'm beginner as shit and didn't think Stash was on some fuckery until this week. I have noticed they seem to be missing several companies from their lineup. You also seem to only have very rudimentary control with your buying and selling via the app. Definitely seems geared more towards long term and less towards trading.
Looks like a class action lawsuit was filed against Robinhood in the SDNY over refusing to sell. Love it!
Edit: add, according to Wikipedia
