I think she was speaking in context of his remarks in the past. In other words, I think she was thinking "the president at the time" and not "the current president".

That woman has been trying to get his ass out of there for 5 years. If she has an opportunity to say 'Former President Trump" I think she would jump on it. But anything is possible.
