The Mark of the Beast IMO is part of the "Beast" Technocratic system whereby you must have some type of chip implanted in your hand. Those without the mark will not be able to buy or sell and will be cutoff from society and the Beast system.
Presumably, this is part of what the White Hat Patriots are fighting -- going down the timeline of the Antichrist and the Beast.
