I listened to the call the other day and if they want to erase his name from the schools' courtroom then they should give back the $1MM.
I guarantee you that if Lin's name was not attached to the $1MM gift he made they would have wiped his name off of there faster than a CVS checker sanitizing the counter.
The way Lin put it in the ThriveTime interview before the recording is played Lin didn't even ask for anything to be named after him, they insisted on it so they could have a contract committing him to donating for 10 years. Hence he's bringing that up against them that they can take his name off but they'll be breaching that contract and therefore should return his $500k.
