Maybe it served its purpose? The thing had people on it at all hours of the night which is odd, but not all hours of the day. I tried researching the stand. It seems to have been actually something common for a few presidents as a parade viewing stand and for reporters. I don’t know though. It was odd. It went up used for a day then came down. Seems like a waste of funds considering the traditional parade didn’t take place.
