Im asking if they trust a random group of people from a long time ago who decided what was and wasn't biblical cannon for the rest of us.

Then why was there more than one? Did the Holy Spirit get it wrong? Or did the Holy Spirit get it right and the men couldn't have that so they had another council?

Same reason I dont read the books Paul wrote. Jesus doesnt need further clarification. The literal son of God doesnt need clarification after the fact from some rando Roman.
