Watching a story on Newsmax about a teenager named Trevor Till who committed suicide because of the covid lockdowns and utter lack of socialization.
This kid appeared to have everything going for him and yet he took his own life. His mother ran down the list of activities that Trevor did and the only thing that comes to mind is that this poor kid was so seriously over-scheduled that he never learned to be alone with his own thoughts.
Maybe rather than schedule our kids from sunrise to sunset, we focus more on teaching them to be alone with their thoughts. I see this in so many people who do not have this ability.
Yes we need each other but there are times that we need to learn to comfort ourselves or find our comfort in a higher power and yet where does one learn this ability?
You are locked in the house, just your own family for open company (no mask or distancing).
If you are the type of person who cannot communicate with a face diaper on...someone who enjoys physical activity and sports, the company of acquaintances and friends, looking forward to social plans.....I don't know how there arent more suicides. This is SPIRIT crushing.....the loneliness and isolation are incredible for most normal people.
they can test the old people in nursing homes all they want with the covid covid crap.....they are dying from lack of loving contact and loneliness.
you can have a million hobbies.....human companionship cannot be replaced.
Agree they want to shut down the only mid quality clothing store in town says we can shop for clothes online. A. how am I supposed to know how it will fit? B. humans were not meant to live like this I want to go out and flipping try on shirts, I want to bring my friends or my family and ask them how I look, wtf is so hard to understand.
