SO relieved!!! Until recently Disney and other corporations were targeting me with their ads and entertainment. Now that they aren't it's so much easier to just ignore them. I have been having success with people on the following point.
"The Russian people aren't the Russian Government why is everyone cancelling them?"
if right leaning person: "I hope everyone remembers this when Joe Biden does something stupid and the world turns on us."
If left leaning person: " "I hope everyone remembers this if Trump is re-elected and does something stupid and the world turns on us."
Both those bottom statements are hyperbole, Joe Biden is going to do stupid things but it is unlikely the world would get mad about it they all want America to fail. Trump on the other hand would not do anything stupid but is entirely likely to draw the ire from other nations for something like leaving NATO or the WHO. Anyhow most people will admit that while punishing the Russian people is likely on purpose to make them turn against their government, it is not ideal.
I know the blame is different but the beliefs are the same. Here's my thing if corrupt people are in power right, and they tell you that all your problems are from capitalism-ies and white supremist-ies and definitely NOT because there are corrupt people in charge; how how how how how do they not see the obvious lie???????? I lose sleep over this.

While I agree that the media for the large part is compromised and generally we can take whatever they say to be false and in fact the opposite to be true, in this case I am starting to have a few doubts about this whole Russia good thing. I just think Russia might be in this case self serving.
Look maybe Putin/Russia is literally in it for themselves. I for one don't quite believe this theory that the whatever it is that is happening helps us out a lot in the long run. Every single Covid-19 liar just got handed an out of the spotlight for free card. I just think that what is happening benefits Putin/Russia and literally no one else.
