After reading the long-winded novel that is probably still up on TDW (not PW), it seems as though the other mods had a bit of a people's revolution.
What happened with PW is a strange phenomenon that occurs within the conspiracy community. It always has; it always will. Conspiracy groups are either the "speak your voice and the group will judge you" type or the odd, "these are the approved conspiracies and any deviation from the standard beliefs will result in you being shunned" type.
I think that after the mutiny at TDW, the doomers took over.
