I have heard this said, a great revival before Jesus' return, but never the source/verse reference(s). Daniel wrote that those who know their God will be bold and have exploits. I am not sure that really points to revival exactly, but certainly to a remnant. He also wrote that it would appear that the holy people have been shattered. Would you have a source for great revival at that time please?
Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
There are certain countries (e.g. Iran, North Korea) where such preaching is illegal as of now. At the very least, I believe that situation will have to change in order for the above verse to be true, and that situation cannot be changed so long as corrupt globalists are in control. So, it stands to reason that they must be defeated first.
Thanks.
Matter of interpretation again, I think.
The preaching of the Truth and revival are not exactly the same things to my ears.
The 10/40 window has been in focus for a long time already. Funny, too, that this area said to have the most unchurched people in the whole world, seems to me to include the area in which Ghangis Khan wiped out the entire Christian population during his reign of terror, so it isn't that it has never heard the Gospel.
and funny/sad, too, that some other countries are now sending missionaries to U.S.
The preaching of the gospel has never been a guarantee that there will be tremendous revival, though it won't come back void...those that are called will hear, and hopefully it WILL be many!
