Yes! Agreed. I met many South Africans when I was traveling there, and I have several Afrikaner friends here in the US. Uniquely kind, thoughtful and generous people; unapologetically religious too; regular church-goers.They remind me a lot of mid-westerners actually (makes sense I guess, given that many midwesterners have German & Dutch ancestry too)
