But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
According to the Bible we’re six thousand years into this timeline, which is the sixth day to God. It took six days to create the world and six days to end the world. The seventh day is his rest, otherwise know as the thousand year reign of Christ on Earth.
This story is wrapping up. It’s God’s plan for the bad guys to “win” but then they’ll be destroyed.
Read Romans, it has everything you need for salvation.
Actually, read Acts, it has everything you need to be saved. It is the book of the actions of the church, or the beginning of the church. Romans, Corinthians, Ephesians, and other books after the book of Acts are only letters to the churches that found their salvation in the book of Acts. Romans was a letter to tell the church at Rome, that they had to exercise more mercy, because the Romans had very little mercy. Whereas, the letters to the church at Corinth told them that they were having too much mercy and allowing sin to be coddled and justified. Neither of the books are written to the sinner, they are written to the churches in the respective countries, telling them how to be successful at living for God, and how to have mercy on the fallen saint, as well as the sinner. The plan of salvation is found in found in the book of Acts. Acts 2:38 is the initial explanation of how to be saved. Every person that received salvation, received it just like they did on the day of Pentecost. Spontaneous unknown tongues, or language, as the spirit gives utterance to man. It is the evidence to you and everyone around you, that you received the gift of the Holy Ghost. The holy feeling that most people get when they repent and say the words, that you except Jesus as your personal savior, is just the weight of sin being lifted off of you. Think about the times that you have carried a heavy load, or carried someone on your shoulders, when you set that heavy load you've been carrying for a while, you feel like you are about to literally float off of your feet. That is what most people feel when they repent, just the heavy weight of sin being lifted off of you. Nothing was added, just sin being removed. You have to go to the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts, and Acts 2:38 when Peter told them what they MUST do to be saved. I write this with humbleness in my words and heart, not to create controversy.
I grew up being taught this, would you be open to learning something new?
I grew up experiencing this, but my mind is always open to gaining more knowledge.
