I got the mattress pad too about 7 months ago. I love it. It makes my less than stellar mattress last until I get another one. I am sure it will be even better with a new mattress. Love the pillows too, while you are sleeping on them they get molded to your head then you just fluff it the next time you want to sleep on it.
