I went to university in a former Soviet satellite country. The Russians are complicated and some things we will never see eye to eye on and we should never let our guard down.

That being said, they have a different value system then us and the have a tough and bloody history. All of the people who preach tolerance have never spent a single second trying to understand Russians and their mindset.
