I'm definitely puzzled why this second impeachment is being given so much credence by both sides. He's already been run through that gauntlet, and he's not even the president according to them; so why would there be so much press about choosing his legal team and whatnot?
I agree with your theory how it's a chance to finally discuss fraud in a "courtroom environment", despite the fact that it's an unconstitutional kangaroo court. This needs to be run on CSPAN among whatever other sources are allowed.
Same. My question is what if they all really know that trump is still the president and this time they really impeach him. Kind of like a double cross thing. I’m being serious. Could this happen?
I think that's probably getting into the weeds too much. They weren't able to get him fired the first time around, and with these accusations the arguments they're using are even weaker. If their evidence of Trump inciting a riot is his speech on 1/6, then this thing is deader than dead.
I honestly can't say who I would trust in Congress anymore, but the Constitution is the law of the land and the military can enforce it. Who's to say, given this recent election, how many legitimately elected congressmen there are sitting right now?
