This thought hit me too as to why he has been so silent. Media will twist anything he says for their warped agenda. I just realized too that the impeachment trial, as long as it goes on, will keep Trump from really speaking out. So it would seem to serve the cabal to draw this thing out as much as they can without losing support of the low info voters.
