There’s no doubt in my mind that they know what they’re doing and are acutely familiar with the way it happens.
But as with anything in politics, there is a benefit to incremental proactivity. That’s how the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and amendments in particular have been eroded over the decades. But it applies to the “good” moves as well.
“Proving” (whatever that really means) that the Democrats stole the election overnight and keeping the executive branch whether or not people believe the proof has huge implications which could be seriously dangerous and result in real riots that would tarnish our country forever. You can say that anyone putting themselves in harms way for the Democrats deserves it, and that we shouldn’t care if the Democratic Party is abolished, and I’d be inclined to agree, in my heart. But the long term implications of that conclusion are unthinkable, in that we can’t guarantee it wouldn’t have unintended consequences, and turn out to be a huge mistake.
There is a way of doing it (securing justice and forcing the Dems to change) which mitigates the damages and will probably result in an even more glorious and less-contested victory for our team.
The amount of buyer’s remorse over Biden already has all but confirmed my suspicion that the plan is still in motion.
