My mom gets a lot of these Gawker, Vice and Salon click bait stories pushed to her social media. She would get all riled up over some garbage she read and I'd have to talk her down. Finally, I had her do an image search of their writers. She thought they would be news people, in a newsroom, dressed in business attire, with personal assistants, and private investigators, and industry connections. She took one look at the actual freak show and she totally gets it now.
