According to the results the UK alternative news sites reside just about everywhere but the UK?
Which is especially odd since I ticked the 'uk only results' box :)
I don't even know what in the hell to do with that--- I mean DDG is supposed to be a browser that doesn't filter......
Unless they have a media blackout? Then they wouldn’t be able to report on it or report it here? Not sure though.

Wow, you're right. I tried substituting "conservative" for "alternative" and I get a list of seemingly random sites.
Either "they" don't want you to find them or there aren't any alternative sites anymore. :-(
Maybe try ‘independent’ ?
It brings up 'The Independent' (It isn't) - 'The Guardian' (It doesn't) and the BBC (nuff said).

DDG complained about "sites." Maybe try reports, aggregate, something else? Or controversial news, unusual news. Some of these AI searches seem to me to be looking for phonemes of what you typed when they come up with inappropriate answers.
