Ill be honest, I dont know how either of their phases would work on flat earth. I dont claim to have all the answers, I am just like you, asking questions. But that is a very interesting question.
But let me ask you this, how does a solid body like moon allows for you to see stars through its shaded part when its waning or waxing? Like in the video I linked? Surely in heliocentric model of the universe, where the moon is a physical heavenly body, that would be impossible? This destroys your belief.
There have been recorded eclipses of the moon when the moon and the sun were still in the sky at same time, can find on youtube. Proving that it is not the earths shadow causing the eclipse.
Will do when I have the opportunity. But this brings me back to my earlier point, you are viewing it in 2D, you have no way to prove the terrain is actually hills and valleys as for that you need to observe it in 3D... Im not questioning that it may look like that.
Also there are plenty of high def videos of moon by amateur astronomers on youtube.
As for a link to such a video, search youtube yourself, there have been many Q and FE accounts and video purges on youtube.
