Epidemiologist Knut Wittkowski thinks he can answer the riddle.
“Influenza has been renamed COVID in large part,” Wittkowski, the former head of biostatistics, epidemiology and research design at Rockefeller University, told the outlet.
“There may be quite a number of influenza cases included in the ‘presumed COVID’ category of people who have COVID symptoms (which Influenza symptoms can be mistaken for), but are not tested for SARS RNA,” he added.
Such patients, he explained, “also may have some SARS RNA sitting in their nose while being infected with Influenza, in which case the influenza would be ‘confirmed’ to be COVID.”
You know, like when you die from a gunshot wound or a car accident but just happen to test positive for the novel coronavirus, it’s listed as a COVID death.
Haven't you heard -- we live in a cancel culture. The leftards just cancelled the flue, colds and pneumonia so they could REEEEEEE when they see real people without masks.
Since most of them are FUGLY they feel more equal by wearing masks.
Tried to discuss this with my girlfriends sister. Who isn't the sharpest arrow at the best of times.
I asked her where have all the flu cases gone? Why are they only reported as double digits (in NSW, Australia) when month-on-month, year after year, it has been thousands of cases all year long.
She said it's because people are in lockdown and are social distancing.
I asked her so how is Covid getting around then?
She looked like android that been fed a question that caused her to divide by zero.
The /s is really helpful for those moments. We are on too high of edge with shills around every corner. It is understandable with the moral attacks we are constantly under. Keep up the good work spreading laughs... responsibly. Hehehe
If you don't die from Covid you can live forever! All other causes of death have been eliminated due to the virus. </sarc>

Funny you should mention this:
4338
Expanding on last drop:
USA v Japan
Apply:
43% of 100% [nursing home] [death]
CDC conflate 34-57% COVID-19 deaths data [include: pneumonia-influenza]?
Avg pneumonia-influenza death(s) per season?
Why is the data constantly changing [past]?
Sometimes a wayback machine can find many easter eggs [CDC data then vs now].
Ignorance is a choice.
Q
Because masks and hand sanitizer work and social distancing and hand washing works, duh.
Eta: Damn, sarcasm fail.
If it works on flu, then covid should disappear too. Lol
Sarcasm
how is covid "spreading" then ?
It's spreading thru sarcastic Internet comments. Highly contagious.
Hahahahaha
You get me.
