I hate to say this but it there are way more black extremism in the ranks then white. The military is the most versatile melting pot this country has. The prob isn’t the white folk.
I was in during the mid-80s, mostly everyone was treated as the race colored green. If you could do your job and bitched the appropriate amount, no one gave a shit what race you were or where you came from.
I do remember being a little surprised by the street clothes some people wore, like you'd never take them for a Punk Rocker or whatever and meet up to go get beers and chase women and be like whoa, didn't see that coming.
