There's literally an experiment you can conduct that proves the Earth is round. It involves sticks 2 people a flat stretch of earth and measuring shadows. Basic math can prove the curvature of the earth.

However, flat Earth makes zero sense. Time zones, How it's dark for 6 months out of the year in Alaska/Sweden, etc. Watching a ship disappear over the horizon, the fact that every other planet is round and the moon is round. How is it that everything else is a sphere, but the earth is flat??? Makes zero sense.
