17 year cicadas

I just realized this is the year the cicadas (aka swarms of locusts) come back, isn’t it? After 17 years? This feels very significant to me for some reason.

Aren't they just? Land of confusion, all has been a deception for so long it seems. I never thought that those who existed in the shadows were so widespread. But then again, it shouldn't surprise me. All I can say, love Jesus, if you don't want to, that is fine, I won't press it on you. But HE is the only thing that gets me by.
