And research involves critical thinking and reason... because you have to sort out the probable from the improbable. At some point though, since we are not on the inside, it does boil down to faith. Faith that we have done our due diligence. Faith in our ability to think logically and reasonably. Faith in the what we have come to believe. Faith can be interpreted as a sense of confidence. It's not a term reserved only for religious conviction
